Hyundai Motor India has launches all new Hyundai Elantra 2016 in both petrol and diesel variants at price range between Rs. 12.99 lakh to Rs 19.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The model is available in S, SX, SX(O) variants with manual and automatic transmission in both engines options. The all new 6th Generation Elantra comes equipped with a whole load of new features like high intensity discharge headlamps, projector fog lamps, glass antenna, voice recognition are few of them.

New Hyundai Elantra 2016 technical data:
The Elantra petrol engine is powered by the company newest powerful Nu 2.0L MPI 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 152 PS of power @ 6,200rpm and 19.6 kgm of torque at @ 4,000rpm. While the diesel engine is powered by the 1.6L U2 Common Rail Technology that produces 128 PS of power @ 4,000rpm and 26.5 kgm of torque between 1,900-2,750rm.
The both engines are paired with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. The manual transmission of petrol engine would give a fuel efficiency of 14.59 km/l while the manual diesel version will deliver 22.54 km/l. The automatic petrol version of Elantra has capacity to deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.63 km/l while the diesel automatic version can deliver a fuel efficiency of 18.23 km/l.
