Nissan low cost brand Datsun has launched the limited edition Datsun redi-GO Sport in India at priced Rs. 3,49,479 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The vehicle is based on the top-end Datsun redi-GO S, which gets new features like sporty graphics, sporty roof spoiler, theme wheel cover, sporty dashboard, Bluetooth audio system, black interiors, remote key-less entry, rear parking sensor.
During the launch event company also announced that world-class female wrestler Sakshi Malik will be the face of the Datsun redi-GO Sport, who is India’s first female wrestler to win an Olympic medal.

The Datsun redi-GO was launched in June 2016 for the Indian buyers and has been recorded a good response. Company retailed 2,925 units in June, 3,940 units in July and 3,205 units in August. The festive seasons are the best time for the auto industry too which is round the corner and company expected to help boost its sales.
The Datsun redi-GO Sport will carryover the 799 cc 3-cylinder petrol engine which is capable to produce 54 PS of power at 5678rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 4386rpm, mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car is capable to deliver ARAI certified mileage of 25.17 km/l.
The car has 2348mm of wheelbase and it measure 3429mm in length, 1560 mm in width, 1541mm in height and 185 mm of ground clearance.
