Mahindra Two Wheelers, part of the USD 17.8 billion Mahindra Group, flagged off the first-ever Mahindra MOJO ‘Desert Trail’ from Jaipur. Scheduled to be held from December 17th to 25th, the MOJO Tribe will scale over 2,500 kilometers through the unforgiving terrain of Western India.

MOJO has always promoted the philosophy of ‘The Joy of Riding’ with its owners living the brand ethos of ‘Born For The Road’. Through the four trails, Mountain trail, Coastal trail, Jungle trail and Desert trail, MOJO aims at exploring and experiencing all the terrains of India. Each trail has been customized to bring out an experience that each biker aspires for and pushes his bike to the limits to explore the unknown.

After successfully completing the scenic coastal trail, the wild jungle trail and the treacherous mountain trail, the MOJO Tribe will now blaze a trail across the stunning deserts of Western India.
The nine-day odyssey will see the Tribe pick their way through the majestic sand dunes of Jaisalmer and journey across the white salt-pan expanse of Rann of Kutch, enroute basking in the ethereal magnificence of the Rann Utsav festival. Tribesmen will also halt at Longewala, site of the historic Battle of Longewala in 1971, and visit the Tanot Mata Mandir that stood unscathed despite numerous attempts to bomb it during the battle.

Camel safaris, dune rides and bonfire nights will add to what already promises to be a unique experience.

Naveen Malhotra, Senior General Manager, Sales, Marketing & Product Planning, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “With MOJO, it has been our endeavor to provide a platform for bike enthusiasts to experience the bike and explore the unknown. After the success of the recently concluded Mountain Trail and the Coastal Trail, Mahindra MOJO and the MOJO Tribe is ready to embark upon a new journey, this time to the stunning deserts of Western India. All the MOJO trails have been quite successful, affirming Mahindra MOJO as India’s ultimate tourer.”

The Desert Trail will be the last ride for the Tribe this year. But plans for next year are already underway and 2018 trail calendar promises to put the capabilities of the MOJO to an even sterner test.
