Korean car maker, Hyundai Motor India, has introduced the new 2017 Elite i20. More of a facelift, the new Elite i20 gets features encompassing safety, style and infotainment. The new Elite i20 will be equipped with 6-Airbags making it the only car in its segment with front dual, side and curtain airbags. It also gets first-in-segment dual tone exteriors options that adds to the style quotient of the car, while its Black Interiors with Orange Insets lends a sporty look and feel inside the cabin. Adding to the Modern Premium look, it will also get the first-in-segment 7.0 touchscreen Audio Video Navigation with smartphone connectivity supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link features for the technology savvy customers.
There are no mechanical changes and it still comes with the 1.4 U2 CRDi Diesel with 90bhp and 6-Speed Manual Transmission, the 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol with 83bhp and 5-Speed Manual Transmission and the 1.4 Dual VTVT Petrol with 100bhp that comes in 4-Speed Automatic Transmission. Some of the added convenience features already in the i20 include Smart Entry, Rear AC Vents, diamond cut alloys and safety features like ABS, Rear Defogger and Fog Lamps.
