General Motors India launched the Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV in India at priced Rs. 26.4 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) with two-wheel-drive (TWD) and automatic transmission. The car will compete against the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Ssangyong Rexton, Hyundai Santa Fe models.
Chevrolet Trailblazer Technical Detail:
The Chevrolet Trailblazer is powered by the 2.8-litre second-generation Duramax 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that generates 200PS of power @ 3600rpm and 500 Nm of torque @ 2,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It claims to deliver ARAI certified fuel-efficiency of 11.45 km/l.
The SUV measures 4878mm in length, 1902mm in width, 1834mm in height, 2870mm wheelbase and 253mm of Ground Clearance, which are making it the largest SUV in its class. It gets three row and 7-seating capacity, also for more space, third row seats has 50:50 split fold, while the 2nd row seats can fold upto 60:40 to leave a more than half of the cabin free for storage.
