The German sports carmaker Porsche AG has launched the new 2015 Porsche 911 Targa in India at starting price Rs. 1.59 crore Delhi ex-showroom. The new 911 Targa features a wide bar in place of the B-pillars, a movable roof section above the front seats and a wraparound rear window with no C-pillar. The roof segment on the new models can be opened and closed at the push of a button in just 19 seconds, as the fully automatic roof system stows the convertible top behind the rear seats to provide a real spectacle. The vehicle also gets Prosche Traction Management all-wheel drive system as a standard feature.

The car is available in two variants, 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S.
- The 911 Targa 4 is powered by a six-cylinder 3.4-litre engine that produces 350bhp of power and 390 Nm of torque with flat engine also an optional Sport Chrono package. It has capacity to reach from 0 to 100Km/h in just 4.8 seconds while attaining a top-speed of 282Km/h.
- The top variant 911 Targa 4S is powered by six-cylinder 3.8-litre engine technology that generates 400bhp power and 440 Nm of torque. It has capacity to go 0-100Km/h in just 4.4 seconds with a top-speed of 296Km/h. The 911 Targa 4S can also be specified with the Carrera S Powerkit that boosts output by 30bhp.
The both variants are mated to a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.
