Hyundai India is going to launch the new Santa Fe on 6th February, 2014.
The new Santa Fe is available globally with two petrol engine option 2 litre turbo and 2.4 litre naturally aspirated motor. In India it will be available in 2.4 liter diesel engine and the same 2.2-liter engine with variable-geometry turbo (VGT) from the current model. It will 40 mm longer and 5 mm wider, although the roofline is 45 mm lower. Wheelbase remains the same at 2,700 mm wheelbase.
The engine power and torque keep untouched at 194bhp and 44.45 kgm respectively. The company will seems upgrade engine and minor change with Piezo injectors for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. The models will be available with six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission, also four-wheel-drive system available as a standard fitment.
The 2014 Santa Fe features Storm Edge design language is the new one from the Korean auto giant after the Fluidic in terms of the interiors change, the car will feature a very stylish dashboard design and rich materials. The car will boast of a long features list.
