Luxury sports carmaker Porsche has announced a new shop in the Indian car market and its eighth dealership in India with the inauguration of the new showroom at Kochi. The new dealership joins seven other dealerships across India currently being developed as Porsche Centers.
The first center to open in India will be the Mumbai dealership which will open in the month of August 2013. According to Mr. Anil Reddi Director Porsche India, the city of Kochi has a promising awareness about the Porsche brand.
The construction and setting of the new Kochi center will begin in the month of September 2013 and the showroom will commence operations around mid 2014. The Kochi center will be managed by EVM Premium Cars which is partnering with Porsche in India.
