Maruti Suzuki India has launched a revamped version of the Ritz Diesel hatchback at an entry level price of Rs 5,31,000 and a higher mileage of 23.2 kilometers per liter on diesel. The new car features a variety of changes and upgrades such as a new front design, a signature front smiling grille, sporty rear spoiler and new headlamps and body side moulding.
In terms of the changes in the interiors, the new Ritz now features red dual tone interiors, improved rear seating with lumbar support, audio system, multi-info display with fuel efficiency, electrically adjustable ORVM and Day & Night IRVM. The automaker has also introduced the ZDi diesel variant in the Ritz positioned above the VDi diesel variant. The ZDi variant features Air Bags, Steering Audio Controls and Alloy Wheels.
The new Ritz hatchback is available in three new colors, namely the Mystique Red, the Granite Grey and the Breezer Blue. The highlight of the upgrade is the higher fuel efficiency of 23.2 kilometers per liter as compared to the earlier 21.1 kilometers per liter, a 10 percent improvement achieved by reduced friction engine and calibration optimization.
