German luxury car maker Audi will showcase its three new models at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2012. The three new models which the company will showcase are – the S6 limousine sports model, the new Q-series of SUV’s and the E-Tron series A3 sedan. Speaking about the cars which would showcased at the Auto Expo, Mr. Michael Perschke, Head of Audi India commented, “Keeping in mind the bigger potential, we will also showcase some new vehicles and technology new options for our customer as we plan to maintain our lead in sales growth next year too.” Audi India currently holds the third spot in India but it might soon attain the number one spot as its sales numbers have already surpassed that of BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Mr. Perchke also added with the advancement in technology, India now in the automobile industry is considered in the same league as the U.S. and China.
The company also plans to showcase a range of technology concepts at the auto expo, which would be presented in two types of ranges namely the ‘Ultra’ range and the ‘Connect’ range. While the former would be about the light and weight technologies, the latter would pertain to in-car and inter-car options.
