India utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & Mahindra sold a total of 25,427 units in the month of September 2008 as compared to 19,895 units in the month of September 2007 and registering a growth of 28 per cent.
The domestic sales stood at 24,481 units for September 2008 as compared to 18,593 units for the same period last year growing by 32 per cent. 946 units were sold as exports for the month of September 2008 as compared to 1,302 units for the same period last year.
The cummalative sales for 2008 stood at 123,099 units as compared to 106,117 units in September 2007.
The company sold 16,059 units of its utility vehicles Scorpio and Bolero in September 2008 as against 12,246 units in September 2007. The sedan Logan sold 1,752 units in September 2008 as against to 2,184 units in September 2007.
