Japanese car maker, Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) recorded 5.4% increase in sales for the month of June 2008 with 4,748 units as against 4,503 units in June 2007.
Honda sold 2,507 units of its sedan City ZX and 1,104 units of its sedan Civic. The SUV CR-V sold 294 units in June 2008.
Honda Accord which was launched in May 2008 sold 843 units in June this year.
These sales figures does not include that of India’s first hybrid car, Honda Civic Hybrid which was launched on June 18, 2008 as sales will commence from July 10.
