    Lamborghini-Aventador-J

The most important European motor show finally got underway last week in Geneva, Switzerland. The 82nd Geneva Motor Show always has a promising list of cars to tantalize your senses and roll in the petrol heads and once again it did not disappoint. Here is a very short list of some of the beautiful cars that were on display and are now up for grabs.

Lamborghini Roadster- This beauty doesn’t need much of an introduction. The Lamborghini Aventador J is an open-top roadster two seater mean machine and is probably the best looking Lambo we have ever seen. It is based on the LP 700-4 Aventador and is powered by a massive 6.5 litre 12-cylinder engine that can pump out 700bhp and also has all-wheel drive. And check this out, the Italian company will only make one of these bad boys for sale. And guess what else – it’s already been sold for an amount in excess of $2.5 million.

    Ferrari-F12-Berlinetta

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta – This car was so popular that around 300 bookings were made at the show itself in the first few days. This red hot sexy prancing horse comes with a 6.3 litre V12 engine that can produce around 730bhp and therefore becomes the fastest and most powerful Ferrari in the Italian stable. It can zoom from 0-100kmph in just 3.1 seconds and can reach speeds over 340kmph. Whats even more awesome in terms of technology is that the engine also uses less fuel and is more efficient. It also gets Ferrari’s E-Differential, ESP Premium, F1-Trac and high-performance ABS systems as standard, as well as the latest evolution in Ferrari’s magnetorheological suspension system (SCM-E).

Audi A3 Hatch- This car is sure to make its way to India soon. The three door hatchback made its debut at Geneva and boy does it look good. It will take on the A class from Mercedes and the BMW 1 series. It features, for Europe, a 1.4 litre petrol unit with 122bhp, a 1.8 litre petrol unit with 188bhp and a 2.0 litre diesel unit producing 143bhp. The interiors of the car will also come the latest Audi gadgetry.

BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe– The new 6 series will be the sleekest looking luxury sedan coming our way since the Jaguar XJ. It looks menacing and follows a coupe like sports design and will feature a very powerful and highly refined 3.0 litre 6-cylinder Twin Power Turbo engine producing 315 horsepower that will race from 0-100kmph in just 5.4 seconds. There will also be a 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 that will produce 445bhp. Now that is something to watch out for.
