Britain based luxury sports car maker Aston Martin announced its entry into Indian car Market to opened a new dealership facility in Mumbai in partnership with Performance Cars. And it will open second dealership in New Delhi by the end of May.
Aston Martin, made famous by its exotic cars in James Bond movies, joins Ferrari, Maserati, Bugatti and Lamborghini, whose vehicles are sold in India to a growing list of rich sports car enthusiasts.
The iconic carmaker will offer the V8 Vantage, priced at 15.5 million rupees ($348,341), the Rapide at 21.5 million rupees ($483,146) and the One-77 at 200 million rupees ($4.5 million), and will soon add more models, it said.
Mr. Michael van der Sande, chief commercial officer of Aston Martin’s said “Our decision to bring the Aston Martin brand to India is driven by a strong level of interest and enthusiasm from potential customers in an emerging luxury market.”
Now the sports car enthusiasts will be able to view and test-drive of V8 Vantage Coupe, V8 Vantage Roadster, V12 Vantage, DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, DBS Coupe, DBS Volante and the four-door sports car Rapide.
After the opening of the Aston Martin Mumbai showroom now the company’s global dealership network to a total of 134 dealers in 42 countries.
