Fiat Professional has just been named LCV Manufacturer of the Year at the 2012 GreenFleet Awards which were held at the Emirates Stadium, in London last week.

The GreenFleet Awards, now in its 14th year, recognises the pioneering adoption of low and zero emission transport and advances in green transport technology.

“In terms of producing very efficient engines in light commercial vehicles, Fiat Professional has found something quite special. Add to that the technology to assist the driver and it’s obvious why it is the 2012 GreenFleet LCV Manufacturer of the Year,” said Colin Boyton, Marketing Manager, GreenFleet.

Commenting on the Award, Sebastiano Fedrigo, Director, Fiat Professional UK says: “We are delighted to win this prestigious environmental award, which recognises Fiat Professional’s on-going commitment to protecting the environment through the provision of technical and innovative solutions which are available today to help fleets reduce their environmental impact.  Our cutting edge technology allows customers to obtain the best efficiency from the current fuel sources available on the market.”

Fiat Professional’s current range of commercial vehicles is designed and built with innovative technological solutions such as the Blue&Me infotainment system, Bi-link suspension, Start&Stop and eco:Drive Professional software. These technologies help support the driver in obtaining the best possible fuel efficiency in every condition and, combined with our state of the art MultiJet II diesel engines, help our vehicles provide class leading economy.
