Hyundai Motor India has registered 48,704 unit sales in July 2013 and during corresponding month in 2012 registered 52,845 units. The company registered 6% decline to sold 25,965 units in July 2013 for the domestic market against the same time period (July 2012) sold 27,585 units .
“Volumes are under pressure despite attractive consumer promotion as customer and market sentiments continue to be suppressed. The frequent price increase on the fuel front on account of depreciating rupee has further increased the challenge to grow volumes.” said Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, senior VP, sales and marketing, HMIL.
