Mahindra launches the entry level ‘W4’ model of XUV500 at a price of Rs 10.95 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The technical features remaining the same. The XUV500 W4 model is powered by a state-of-the-art 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine which delivers a power-packed 140bhp with 330Nm of torque. The 2.2 litre engine is meshed with a 6-speed transmission and a 5th generation Variable Geometry Turbocharger which takes the XUV500 from 0-60kmph in just 5.4 seconds. Despite all this exhilarating power, the XUV500 has a mileage of 15.1 kms per litre (ARAI-certified). The advanced Micro Hybrid Technology helps conserve both fuel and nature.
In addition it also boasts of a range of technology, safety and comfort features such as projector headlamps with LEDs, Dual Airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), side impact beams, crash protection with crumple zones, all wheel disc brakes, Twin HVAC, power & tilt steering, power adjustable ORVMs, remote central locking and many more.
