    New Honda City launched in India at 7.42 lakhs

    Honda Cars India launches the all-new 4th Generation Honda City 2014 for the Indian car market with both Diesel and Petrol fuel engine options at a starting price Rs. 7.42 lakhs for Petrol and Rs. 8.62 lakhs for Diesel variant.

    New Honda City Diesel

    The all new 4th Generation Honda City 2014 gives a new premium look and feel. The Diesel model is powered by the 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine of Earth Dream Technology series and is the most fuel efficient car with best fuel efficiency of 26 kmpl. This engine delivers 100ps @ 3,600 rpm of maximum power and 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm of maximum torque. It is mated with a newly developed 6-Speed Manual transmission.

    New Honda City Petrol

    The Petrol Version City is powered by 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine that generates 119 PS @ 6,600 rpm of maximum power and 145 Nm @ 4600 rpm of maximum torque. This is mated with 5-speed manual transmission and also with Honda’s original innovative and advanced CVT (Automatic Transmission) technology. The CVT variant delivers a top class fuel efficiency of 18 kmpl along with an effortless driving experience and a 5 speed manual transmission has an impressive fuel efficiency of 17.8 kmpl.

    The all-new Honda City is available in 5 variants with both Petrol and Diesel engine option: E, S, SV, V and VX with Manual Transmission. Additionally the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) variants are available only with Petrol engine called SV CVT and VX CVT. It comes with a 2 years or 40,000 kms standard warranty for all customers.

    New Honda City Features:

    The City features including Pedestrian injury mitigation technology, Driver and Front passenger SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) which enhances braking performance and impact mitigating headrests which reduce the possibility of neck injury in rear impacts of low speed.

    New City now with Auto AC with Touchscreen Control panel, Advanced integrated Audio with 8 speakers and 5” inch screen, One Push Engine Start/Stop button with Honda Smart Key System, steering wheel with buttons for cruise control, Audio and hands-free control, Rear A/C vents and Rear Parking camera with multiple views. The CVT variant equipped with a Paddle Shift option which can be operated in both D and S variant and allows the driver to enjoy a manual transmission. On the exterior, with segment first shark fin antenna, sunroof, 15” sporty alloy wheels, stylish fog lamps and sleek turn indicators on the door mirrors, the New city truly delivers a One Class Above feeling.
