Audi India, luxury car makers is going to launch its most awaited model the new Audi A3 sedan in August, 2014 and it will be most affordable car in India by Audi at expected price tag Rs. 26 lakh for the standard variant.
Audi A3 Sedan will be powered by a 1.8-litre TFSI petrol engine with 180 PS of power supply and 250Nm of torque maximum torque. The second option the 2.0-litre diesel engine with 152PS power and 320Nm maximum torque. The car would be available in both 6-speed manual and popular S-tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission options.
This Audi A3 sedan standard variant would be loaded with Audi’s signature LEDs headlights, leather upholstery at an affordable price. While the top variant is expected more features like a 9-spoke alloy wheels, the leather package and LED headlamps.

The Audi A3 sedan will hit into the Indian market in August and tuff competitor for the next generation Mercedes-Benz CLA, existing model BMW 1 Series, Mercedes-Benz A-Class and B-Class hatchbacks. Audi decided to make its A3 sedan more affordable at the same price segment, since body type is perceived to be more premium and is seen as a status symbol in our country. The Audi A3 will be assembled in India.
