    Honda launched new VX (O) variant with Honda City in India

    Honda Cars India has added a new VX (O) variant with Honda City model in both petrol and diesel engine. This new variant is positioned over the existing VX variant in Manual Transmission and features with an Advanced Integrated Touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) system and also added a new premium colour – White Orchid Pearl.

    New VX (O) variant with Honda City features:

    Touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation system: large 15.7 cm Touchscreen with satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation and complete in-car entertainment, convenience and connectivity features like DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/ AM, Rear Camera Display with Guidelines.

    The system is integrated with hands-free Bluetooth connectivity so the user sync their phones with it and implement functions on screen including dialling, answering, history, address book and Bluetooth music play. The on-board navigation featuring intuitive and suggestive keyboard allows the user to search locations and help to reach the destination conveniently.

    The City also loaded with features with newly introduced Security Alarm and 2 nos. of Transmitter Keys facilitating keyless entry which will now be available from S grade onwards.

    Honda City technical specification & Variants:

    The Honda City is available in both petrol and diesel engine options, the petrol City is powered by a 1.5-litre 4 Cylinder, SOHC i-VTEC engine technology that producing 119 PS of power at 6,600rpm and 145 Nm of torque @ 4,600rpm while the diesel engine has 1.5-litre 4 Cylinder, DOHC i-DTEC technology that generates 100 PS of power @ 3,600rpm and 200 NM of torque @ 1,750rpm.

    The petrol engine is mated with 5-Speed Manual and CVT (Automatic) transmission that delivers certified mileage from 17.4 kmpl to 18.0 kmpl while the diesel engine is integrated with only 6-speed manual transmission maximum 26.0 kmpl of ARAI certified mileage.

    The Honda City now available with 14 variants – E, S, SV, V, VX and VX(O) in petrol and diesel variants in manual transmissions. It is also available in SV and VX CVT petrol variants.
