Maruti Suzuki India has added the Celerio ZXi AMT variant at a price tag of Rs. 4,99,999/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) on the occasion of Celerio first anniversary in India. The AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) does not need a clutch pedal; there’s only an accelerator and a brake pedal, just like a regular automatic and makes the car relatively stress-free to drive, particularly in traffic.
This AMT transmission is currently available with middle range of LXi and VXi variants but now company added AMT with top end variant ZXi.

The Celerio ZXI AMT is powered by 998 cc, 3-cylinder, K10B K-Next petrol engine that generates 68 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The vehicle has 5 persons of seating capacity with 235 litre of luggage capacity and 35 litre of fuel tank capacity.
