Volvo Auto India has launched the 2015 Volvo XC90 SUV in India with two variants – Momentum Luxury and Inscription Luxury at priced Rs. 64.9 lakhs and Rs. 77.9 lakhs (ex-Showroom, Mumbai). It has now comes with a new design which gives it a luxurious presence, as compared to the previous model. The 2015 XC90 has latest modular SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture) platform, a new lineup of force-fed 4-cylinder engines and a new design that will influence next generation models.
2015 Volvo XC90 SUV technical details:
The SUV is powered by latest-generation 2.0-litre, twin turbo 4-cylinder D5 diesel engine that generates 225bhp of power at 4,250 rpm and 470 Nm of torque between 1,750-2,500rpm, mated to a an 8-speed automatic transmission. The power is sent to all four wheels via an AWD system and it has capacity to reach a top speed 230 kmph. This 7-seater vehicle measures at 4,950 mm in length, 2,008 mm in width and 1,776 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,984 mm.
