The all-new compact SUV called the Kona builds on Hyundai Motor’s SUV credibility with a progressive approach to enhance the brand’s appeal, reach new customers and support the goal to become leading Asian automotive brand in Europe by 2021. The Kona offers a sleek, sharp design with full-LED twin headlamps, two-tone roof and the choice between ten distinctive exterior colours. Coloured stitching on the seats and steering wheel as well as highlights around the air vents transform the car’s interior into a second skin that protects the owner seamlessly The Kona gets four-wheel drive, 7DCT and Hyundai’s latest powertrains including modern turbocharged petrol engines and the newest generation of diesel technology.
The car lso gets some great new features such as a Hyundai first combiner head-up display with class-leading luminance that projects relevant driving information directly into the driver’s line of sight. The Display Audio, another Hyundai first, makes connectivity accessible, allowing passengers to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the seven-inch screen. The Kona offers a wide range of active safety features including Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection. The Kona will make its way to Indi soon and will sit above the Creta.
