Japanese car maker Suzuki has released preliminary details and a side profile image of its all-new Baleno five-door compact hatchback, which is expected to reach India very soon. The Baleno hatch is a follow-up to a concept shown earlier this year in Geneva. Full details about the car’s size has not been announced, but Suzuki mentions it’s a compact model, and the concept was 4023mm long, 1920mm wide, 1450mm tall and with a 2520mm wheelbase.
According to Suzuki, this new model will provide a spacious interior cabin and will implement new technologies, one of which is the 1.0-liter BOOSTERJET direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engine. Suzuki has also said this newly developed unit will offer enough power and great fuel efficiency all wrapped around in a lightweight body, which will enable the model to deliver dynamic performance levels. More details of the car will be announced at the Frankfurt Motor Show, where the car will be revealed.
