It looks like America luxury car maker Cadillac has plans to enter the European market. The company announced plans to offer a full model lineup in Europe where it aims to grab a lot of customers by providing an “exceptional service.” General Motors president Dan Ammann has said that Cadillac is currently working on a full-on European assault with a complete lineup, including a new flagship model that will sit above the recently unveiled CT6.
The Euro-spec cars will be getting diesel engines and will also be offered in right-hand drive countries. There were rumours of Cadillac showing interest in Asian markets also a few years ago, and now that they plan to produce right-hand drive vehicles, we just might see them come to India sometime in the future. Ammann has also admitted that a bigger and sportier version of the CTS-V is in the works but did not provide an exact timetable regarding its launch. Until then, the Euro-spec CTS-V will go on sale in Europe right after the smaller ATS-V. But, before tackling the very competitive European market, Cadillac aims to achieve a re-positioning back home in the US as a business separate from General Motors.
